網路搜尋後，才發現"I Need A Doctor"歌名取的妙意:一語雙關，傳言當時嘻哈界如日中天的DR.DRE簽下默默無聞的Eminem時，Eminem高興的在DR.DRE身邊高興的大喊「I Need A Doctor！」
Eminem和嘻哈界需要DR.DRE，就像他們也都需要一個醫生一樣！
MV開頭的February.18th.2001，代表著是DR.DRE的職業生涯分水嶺，那天是他的36歲生日，畫面回到一開始踏入嘻哈界的N.W.A，開始奠定了他在嘻哈界的基礎，後來成立了自己的唱片廠牌Death Row Records(99年還簽了現在的嘻哈天王--Eminem)
MV最後的墓碑「Eric Wright」(即Eazy-E)，則是當年的N.W.A核心人物之一，95年因AIDS去世，年僅31歲。
在2008年，不管是對Eminem還是DR.DRE都是非常難過的一年，Eminem因為好友Proof(嘻哈樂團D12成員)的身亡重創，他說：「在Proof過世一年後，我才回到正常生活，那一年的時間，我連下床起身都很難，更別提寫歌了，我的腦袋亂成一團。」陷入低潮的Eminem足不出戶，甚至染上藥癮。DR.DRE的小兒子也因為藥物過量死亡，也陷入了極大的低潮，Eminem戒毒成功之後，靠著Recovery和恩師DR.DRE的砥礪捲土重來，但DR.DRE卻也陷入了消沉，Eminem怒吼說：「當初是你執意簽下我，現在是我來幫助你的時候了！」
末段DR.DRE則回應說：「當初看到阿姆時感到很震撼！現在那些酒肉朋友都離開了，但只有阿姆依舊不離不棄！他要好好振作起來！」
