今日推薦 Band of Horses - "Is There A Ghost"

西雅圖樂隊Band of Horses的主唱:Ben Bridwell音質清亮，如夜空中的星雲，也像陰雲後月光隱隱透露的微光。被媲美為The Flaming Lips的Wayne Coyne，或My Morning Jacket的Jim James。
而今日推薦的"Is There A Ghost"聽沒幾句便默默喜歡上了(確實也沒幾句XD)。整首僅短短幾句重複卻足以擄獲人心，就像靈魂被抽走一般，宣洩了心中的難耐。

讓我覺得有趣的是這個歌名—有鬼嗎?
光看歌名...還真以為是鬧鬼...雖然也是雷同於"little talks"的鬼屋歌曲XD不過風格是一點都不毛的清幽氣氛~

不過對照一下歌詞，我解讀為:對於心中的單獨與孤獨難以忍受，就像(肉體)已死亡，徒留魂魄，空空蕩的徘徊在(這個死去的)原地。

歌詞中「sleep」的睡著有其引申，代表永遠的沉睡—死亡。
所以Is there a ghost in my house?
「ghost」不僅只是大家最常理解的意思:「鬼魂」；原意應該更接近於 他自身的「靈魂」。寂寞封閉的心在幻象中遊走，像鬼魂。
